​​What is Turning Tables?

Turning Tables is changing the current face of hospitality by providing mentorship, cultivating leadership, and creating career pathways while advocating for equity in the hospitality industry.  

We are driven by a mission to disrupt inequities in the hospitality industry, through both individual support and systems change, in order to create pathways to opportunity and prosperous futures for all!

The Externship 

The Turning Tables program equips participants with skills for various careers in the food and beverage industry and within the three tier system, including brewing, distilling, management, entrepreneurship, marketing, and trade advocacy.

Each week focuses on a core competency, accompanied by hands-on training. Our curriculum is built in collaboration with  industry leaders and hospitality professionals. 

The second phase involves an externship tailored to your interests, mentored by industry veterans.

 Support services include transportation, mental health care, childcare, and affordable insurance. Job placement assistance, advocacy and a built in community of support.
